Blue Bay Resort - Zanzibar

Bluebay beach resort is a luxury hotel with 88 rooms, situated on an excellent wide, white sandy beach on the Island of Zanzibar. Located on the east coast in an area known as Kiwengwa, Blue Bay beach resort is only about 35 minute drive from the city and the airport. All rooms are tastefully decorated using traditional Zanzibari decor. Equipped with four poster beds with mosquito nets, a writing desk, coffee table and chair. Air conditioners, ceiling fans, Satellite TV, a mini-bar, hair dryer and telephone add a touch of luxury to each room. Internet service is also available. Karafu Hotel - Zanzibar

Karafu has ninety traditional cottage style rooms with a makuti roof. Built in 1995, it is a large hotel with a 4 stars rating. It is filled with the facilities you would expect in such a hotel, three Restaurants, three bars, two boutiques, a TV room, two tennis courts, a disco and a swimming pool. The hotel is traditional Zanzibari decor. Each room has a ceiling fan and air conditioning and private lanai.

Tembo Hotel - Zanzibar

Located in the heart of Stone Town, surrounded by historical architecture. The hotel is a restored from Oman extended residence. Dinner is just meters away from the sea, providing glorious sunsets and night skies as a backdrop for your meal. Tembo has just sixteen rooms, all with en-suite facilities, telephone and TV.

Dhow Palace Hotel - Zanzibar

The 19th Century restored Dhow Palace hotel has 10 separate rooms, fully air conditioned, with Zanzibari furniture. It has a central courtyard and is tastefully decorated. The rooms come complete with Persian baths. There is a very good rooftop restaurant. Dhow Palace and Tembo are under the same ownership and use can use the facilities of each hotel.

Fundu Lagoon Lodge - Pembe

Fundu Lagoon on Pemba is situated on a secluded peninsula. There so much crativity in the decor of the Fundu that it is difficult to to put any kind of category. The closest that can, they can be described as is "Shabby Chic". Fundu contains 16 tented rooms, spread along the beach and in the vegetated slope up all have views of the sea from their private verandas. Inside the rooms are very large ceiling fans that have a large peaceful appeal. The ensuite bathrooms have flush toilets, hot showers, sink and a range of aromatherapy soaps and shampoos, all eco friendly and biodegradable. Fundu has two bars, one in the main hut and the other, the mediator is along the jetty. Drinks (except special cellar selections) are included at Fundu. There are different room (with satellite), an accredited PADI dive center and a beautiful treatment room, offering a range of massage and holistic treatments. The complete disposition of Fundu, is to chill out and relax. A friendly team serves a choice of dishes from Fundu 's imaginative menu in the main dining room. Fundu is a great honeymoon destination and the Pemba Channel has something of the very best diving in the Indian Ocean.
